Two Injured During Western Mass Crash Between Car, Truck

Two people were injured and taken to an area hospital following a crash in Western Massachusetts.

The crash took place in Hampden County around 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, when a car and a truck collided at the intersection of Dwight Street in Springfield, according to the Springfield Fire Department.

Fire officials said two people, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries had to be extricated from their vehicles.
